ESPN BET has introduced a new feature called FanCenter, which integrates ESPN Fantasy rosters directly into its betting app. By linking their ESPN accounts, users can now access personalized betting insights through the “For You”, with personalized betting options based on players’ favorite teams, fantasy rosters, and previous wagers.
The system also includes the Fantasy Bet Builder, which will let players create fantasy squads based on their betting in just a few taps. The feature will also provide fast insight into prop odds and stats when browsing players.
Last season, ESPN Fantasy Football had 13 million players, making it the most popular fantasy football platform on the market. In August, leading up to the start of the 2024 season, ESPN received 9.3 million unique visitors, 3.7 million more than its nearest competitor.
ESPN BET was created through a partnership with PENN Entertainment and replaced the company’s former sportsbook, Barstool Sportsbook. The online betting platform went live in November 2023 and is available in 19 US states and Washington D.C.
ESPN BET estimates its market share will reach 4.7% by the end of 2025, which is well below a 20% target by 2027.
