Integrity Compliance 360 (IC360), a global technology and consultancy group, has partnered with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, a non-profit organization affiliated with the National Council on Problem Gambling, to provide the Pennsylvanian Collegiate its gambling education program.
The collaboration aims to educate Pennsylvanian student-athletes on the harms of gambling, either online or land-based, and how to stop them from developing damaging relationships with gambling in the future.
“This partnership marks a pivotal moment for IC360 and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It is a privilege to have the opportunity and access to provide our Education Program to a wider audience than ever before,” says Scott Sadin, IC360’s COO. “Our team looks forward to serving this community of amazing young adults, athletes, and administrators with the help of our partner who shares our same vision of integrity.”
The education program will be available to all National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I, II, and III institutions, including junior or community colleges. There are 300 collegiate institutions in Pennsylvania, with thousands of student-athletes who will be given the necessary tools and resources to understand and develop their knowledge about gambling.
“As gambling availability and participation continues to increase in Pennsylvania, so does the number of individuals who are experiencing problems,” says Josh Ercole, Executive Director of The Council on Compulsive Gambling of Pennsylvania. “Expanding resources to address these issues on a wider scale is vital, and partnerships with organizations like IC360 assist in achieving this goal.”
