Jackpot Digital Granted Maine Gambling License

Electronic table poker provider Jackpot Digital has extended its operations into Maine after being granted a gaming license from the Maine gambling regulatory body, Maine Gambling Control Unit (MGCU).

The license marks the first US state-issued license given to Jackpot Digital, allowing the group to source its electronic poker tables and casino machines in the Pine Tree State.

“Receiving approval from MGCU is a major accomplishment,” said Jake Kalpakian, Chief Executive Officer of Jackpot Digital. “Until now, our U.S. licenses have been exclusively through our valued Indian Gaming casino partners, who issue licenses for their respective properties. A state license, however, grants us access to the entire state. We have several additional state licenses pending approval, representing a major expansion opportunity into larger state-regulated commercial casinos.”

Jackpot Digital’s flagship ETG Jackpot Blitz is the highlight of the licensing approval. It offers a modern player-friendly poker solution with state-of-the-art technology. The its new Maine license, Casino operators will be able to bring in new revenue player experiences to their establishments.

“More immediately, this MGCU approval enables us to offer Jackpot Blitz to gaming operators across Maine. We are excited to bring our innovative products to Maine’s gaming community and reinforce our commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology-driven entertainment,” Kalpakian added.
