The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has released its overview of gambling revenues in the state for June 2025. It shows that casinos and online partners generated $581.6 million in gaming revenue, an 18.4% increase from the $491 million generated in June 2024.
Land-based casino gambling led the way with $259 million in revenue, with Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa generating the most of any Atlantic City casino. That was a 6.1% increase compared to the June 2024 revenue total. The year-to-date casino revenue is 1.7% higher than at the same point in 2024.
Meanwhile, online casino gambling, including online poker, generated $230.7 million, growing by 23.5% year-on-year. That brought the online year-to-date total to $1.39 billion, still slightly higher than the $1.38 billion generated by land-based casinos. Online casinos’ year-to-date total is 22.7% higher than over the same period last year.
Sports betting increased by 52.9% year-on-year to reach $91.9 million in revenues, even with revenues from retail sports betting declining by over 48% compared to the year prior. However, year-to-date sports betting revenues are down 3.7% compared to the same point last year.
