Ohio Casinos Report 5% Revenue Growth in October 

Ohio’s four casinos reported revenue of $87.2 million last month, up from the previous year’s figure of $83 million and representing a year-on-year increase of 5%.  

The figures, published by the Ohio Casino Control Commission, revealed that of this amount, slot games yielded $63.9 million, up 6.2% from $60.1 million recorded the previous year, and table games generated $23.3 million, a slight year-on-year increase of 1.9% from $22.9 million.  

Of the four casinos, Hollywood Columbus reported the highest revenue, generating $25.8 million last month, up 7.8% year-on-year from $24 million. Slots at the casino generated $19.5 million, up 6.6%, while table games produced $6.3 million, up 11.5%.  

Following this, Jack Cleveland had the second-highest revenue last month, increasing from $19.8 million to $21.8 million, a 10.1% rise and the largest year-on-year growth among the four casinos. Slots rose 10.3% to $13.5 million, while table games increased 9.8% to $8.4 million.  

Hollywood Toledo also reported revenue growth in October, rising 2.5% year-on-year from $18.8 million to $19.3 million. Slots were up 5.3% to $16.8 million last month. In contrast, table games dropped 12.9% to $2.5 million.  

Hard Rock Cincinnati was the only casino to report a decline last month, with revenue dropping from $20.4 million to $20.2 million, representing a slight year-on-year decrease of 0.9%. Slots increased 3% to $14.1 million, while table games declined 8.9% to $6.1 million.
