Animals Predict Super Bowl LIX

Animals predicting Super Bowl winners is absurd, but every year, these feathered and furry fellows steal the show with their unusual forecasting methods.

Take Fiona the Hippo of the Cincinnati Zoo – she’s enjoyed quite the following after correctly predicting the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory at Super Bowl LIV. Then there’s Ozzy the Grizzly Bear from ZooMontana, who has been good at choosing winners by devouring cakes with team logos on them.

Animals have been getting their crystal balls ready for Super Bowl LIX, which will be played between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles on February 9 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

For example, Tater the Groundhog, the subject of Chimney Rock’s Groundhog Day celebration, predicted the Kansas City Chiefs to win Super Bowl LIX (as well as an early spring).

Meanwhile, a 13-year-old African Lion at Hogle Zoo in Utah backed the Eagles to win after selecting a box with some meat on it featuring the Eagles badge over a similar Chiefs box.

People on social media platforms are also sharing videos of their dogs and other pets, making Super Bowl predictions through various methods. Whether these animals know something we don’t remains to be seen, but it provides a bit of fun in the build-up to the big game.
