Colorado, New Hampshire, and Oregon Release Super Bowl LIX Betting Numbers

Colorado, New Hampshire, and Oregon have released details on sports betting figures for Super Bowl LIX, in which the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22.

The Colorado Division of Gaming revealed a record-breaking handle of $48.2 million on the game, with $47.2 million of those wagers coming from online sportsbooks. $29.8 million was placed on February 9, the day of Super Bowl LIX. The win percentage from these wagers was 28.91%.

Meanwhile, bettors in Oregon bet $8.26 on the big game across over 456,000 wagers. The average spend on a bet was $18.11.

There was a 9% increase in active players who wagered through the only licensed sportsbook in the state, DraftKings. The biggest win from an Oregon player was $49,370 from a $25 13-leg parlay, which included other sports.

In New Hampshire, bettors wagered over $7.5 million on Super Bowl LIX. Of the bettors who placed wagers on the outright winner of the game, 89% correctly backed the Philadelphia Eagles.

Executive Director of the New Hampshire Lottery Charlie McIntyre said, “Between the standard touchdown, yardage, or MVP and the Swiftie Special betting options, the Super Bowl certainly lived up to its reputation as New Hampshire’s largest sports betting event of the year. Considering each bet supports New Hampshire public education, we at the New Hampshire Lottery are pleased to see $7.5 million in wagers on the event. Now, while the NFL season may have come to a close, the NBA and NHL are in full swing and March Madness is right around the corner—there’s always something for everyone!”
