Colorado November Sportsbook Revenue Totals $55 Million 

According to a new report from the Colorado Department of Revenue (CDOR), the state generated a combined handle of $55.6 million, a 41.5% month-on-month increase for gross gaming revenue, making $38 thousand in retail sportsbooks and $55.6 million for online. 

Total net sports betting proceeds for the month came in at $40.5 million, which rose considerably from the previous month, October when the total was $25.1 million. 

Colorado also published its top 10 wagered sports. American football claimed the number one spot for the state after generating $161 million in wagers, closely followed by basketball, which generated $148 million in wagers. 

Ohio Sportsbooks Produce $117 Million in Combined Revenue for November 

The Ohio Casino Control Commission (OCCC) reported that for November, it generated $114 million in taxable revenue for online sportsbooks and $2.8 million for retail sportsbooks. 

This figure represents a 43.6% month-on-month increase for the state, from $81.4 million in October to $117 million in November. 

The taxable revenue comprises both online and retail sportsbooks from the state’s 16 proprietors, and we can see which one had the most significant impact on the month. 

Belterra Park/Fanduel generated the highest amount, reporting a combined total of just over $46.5 million, a 35% month-on-month increase. They were closely followed by Hollywood Toledo/DraftKings, which produced $38 million in taxable revenue. 

Ohio Casinos Produce over $84.3 Million in Total Revenue for November 2024

The Ohio Casino Control Commission (OCCC) has reported its November casino figures, generating around $84.3 million in revenue, a 1.6% month-on-month increase from $83 million in October. 

Table revenue was also reported at $24.2 million, and slot revenue generated just over $60 million. 

The state has four casinos, with Hollywood Columbus Casino reporting the highest total revenue, $24.8 million, for November and Hollywood Toledo Casino generating the least, $18 million in revenue for the month. Unfortunately, this is also a 3.8% decrease from October. 

Kentucky reported $301.7 million for sportsbook wagers in November 2024

In November the Kentucky Horse Racing and Gaming Corporation (KHRGC) generated a total of $290.7 million in online sportsbooks and $11 million for retail. 

This is a 9.8% month-on-month increase for the state for both online and retail wagers, with October generating just shy of $280 million. In addition, adjusted gross revenue totaled $35.8 million for the month, a 90.8% increase compared to October 2024.

Ohio has seven operators, each with its own sportsbook license. Of these seven, Cumberland and DraftKings produced the highest handle for the month, just over $113 million. Kentucky Downs generated the least for November, with around $3.5 million in revenue. 

Rhode Island sportsbook gross over $5 million in revenue for November 2024

The Rhode Island Lottery reported $5 million in revenue in November, with online sportsbooks generating $4.4 million.

In addition, Twin River and Tiverton Casinos generated a combined $529,714 in revenue for the month. 

The combined total of online and retail sportsbooks shows a 136% month-on-month increase for the state, with October generating only $2.1 million in revenue compared to November. 

Rhode Island report casino revenue of $36.4 million for November 2024

As well as its sportsbook, the Rhode Island Lottery announced its casino revenue for November, garnering $24.8 million in lottery revenue, a 0.48% month-on-month decrease. 

It was also reported that table games generated $11.6 million in revenue for the month, a 17.8% increase compared to October. 

Rhode Island generates $2.7 million for iGaming in November

In November, the lottery reported grossing $2.7 million in net gaming revenue, a 14% month-on-month decrease. 

iSlots contributed $2.1 million to total revenue, and iTables reported $640 thousand in revenue for November. 

Combined wagers for the month were reported as $79.7 million, a 6.1% increase compared to October 2024. 

Virginia Lottery sportsbook handle increase year-on-year by 19.1% for November 2024

For November, the Virginia Lottery reported that it had produced $760.9 million in wagers and $80.6 million in adjusted gross revenue. 

Online sportsbooks generated $756.6 million in overall wagers, whereas casino retail sportsbooks reported a $4.2 million contribution to the total amount and just over $666 thousand in adjusted gross revenue.

South Dakota generated a $1 million sports betting handle for November 2024

With seven casinos reporting revenue, the South Dakota Department of Revenue announced that it had produced a handle of over $1 million, a 3.5% year-on-year increase. 

Out of its published list of sporting events, the NFL generated the highest handle for the month at just over $433 thousand, with CFL, WNBA, NCAA basketball, and Olympics not generating any handle for the month. 

South Dakota casinos report a 25.6% month-on-month decrease in revenue

The South Dakota Department of Revenue reported that for November, it generated a combined handle of $103.6 million from table and slot machines. 

In addition to adjusted gross revenue decreasing from $12.7 million in October to $9.4 million, the combined handle also decreased by 29.3% compared to October, which generated a handle of $146.5 million.
