According to a new report from the Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC), the state’s three casinos generated over $100.8 million in revenue in November. This includes $63.1 million from Encore Boston Harbor, $23.1 million generated by MGM Springfield, while Plainridge Park brought in the remaining $14.6 million.
The latest figure is the highest since around $103 million collected in August and marks the third-highest total of 2024. March was the casinos’ most profitable month of 2024 when they brought in more than $111 million.
All three casinos reported higher revenues compared year-over-year, with Plainridge Park Casino reporting the largest increase of 26.3% compared to $11.6 million in November 2023. MGM Springfield saw its revenues increase 10% compared to $21.0 million last November, while Encore Boston Harbor reported a 2.7% jump.
November was also a solid month for MA sportsbooks, which reported a 64.4% increase in revenue year-on-year, from $48.9 million to $80.5 million. This includes $79.6 million collected by online sports betting, which DraftKings led, contributing $44.2 million to the total. The other six online operators collected the following revenue totals:
